CEO MESSAGE
Greetings from Charlotte, North Carolina, United States of America.
As the founder and CEO of the World Association for Chinese Studies (WACS), I invite you to join our exceptional academic organization, and to interact with the many outstanding students, scholars, and friends who make our organization special. WACS is a professional, comprehensive Chinese Studies Association providing more than thirty-five academic areas of research that attracts students, professors, and scholars from around the world.
Our goal is not only to introduce China's past, present, and future, but also to explore the application of "Chinese Studies" in global education, using WACS to benefit the world and the people in it. We will use an interdisciplinary approach to combine the Chinese academic disciplines with other disciplines by collaborating with universities around the world. This will serve the local community, to meet global educational demands, and strive to bring the "Chinese Studies" into cultivation during the 21st century. We will focus on the traditional humanity studies in a new period of "content or philosophy"(“內容或哲學”) by implementing this strategy and employing "value innovation" or "value change." We will use keen and accurate critical thinking to discover the traditional culture which is used today by considering 5000 years of Eastern philosophy. This is expected to bring great value to all mankind. This "value change" is one of the important missions of WACS and it is my goal as president to enact these changes. This "value change" provides us with a new way to understand the humanities in the 21st century, and the direction of "value innovation," which would employ China’s foreign, social, political and ideological talent. Close attention will be paid to the research of academic theory. This will serve as the application of education to provide effective resources and innovation opportunities, with great attention to the phenomenon of mass community education, using John Dewey’s practical educational philosophy to reach an educational apex.
We will adhere to interdisciplinary research ideas and to 5000 years of Chinese history. This forms the basis of an in-depth study of the 21st century, the practicality of globalization, and lastly to promote the localization of the strategy of efficient Chinese studies. For example: the implementation of three languages; Chinese, English, and Spanish. In addition, Chinese and Western Studies, Art History Research, Literary Poetry, the new art of Interdisciplinary Studies, Calligraphy, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math), Chinese Language and Literature, Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, and Plasticity Research will also be promoted. These studies will be instituted by the end of 2017. We currently see increases in Chinese interests of religion and modern dance research, in addition to Chinese religious music [Chinese Buddha music, Tibetan music, Taoist music, and Ethnic music, etc] research. We will also focus on the field of Chinese studies and cognitive science research, as well as the use of literary theory, aesthetics, image theory and cultural anthropology to help increase our understanding of Chinese studies. The goal is that by understanding these myriads of topics in a new light we can truly understand "Value Innovation in Chinese Studies."
I am proud to have the best scholars in the world. They are the cornerstone of scholarly communication and innovation, the wealth we learn, and their dedication to global education.
We will also establish long-term strategic partners, resource sharing, and peer-to-peer academic research. This has world-wide implications for educational institutions, peers, museums, and multinational companies.
Thank you for visiting our website.
Join us in service.

John Morgan, CEO
-
以三種語言(中、英和西班牙文)出版發行與“中國學”相關的系列學術期刊;
-
進行人文學科領域的教材與書籍翻譯與出版;
-
举辦年度國際學術論壇;
-
進行中西方美學研究、藝術史學研究、文學詩歌與新藝術跨學科研究;
-
進行漢字書法與STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) 研究;
-
建立漢字書法與腦神經可塑性「1」(Neuroplasticity) 研究, 探索中國書法對人類大腦癡呆和兒童多動症(ADHD)的科學研究;
-
